The man is played by Jonathan Rowell.

Uncommon Verses Trilogy - A tribute to the photographs of Stephen Shore (Uncommon Places)
This poem trilogy is a hommage to the photographs called 'Uncommon Places' (published first in 1982) by photographer Stephen Shore. He photographed everyday America for a whole decade in the 1970s, during several road trips. Using a large-format camera, he managed to create monumental photographs with a kind of empty athmosphere on a cinemascopic scale. The viewer is drawn into those photos and it almost feels possible to 'walk into them.' Shore used colour photography when it was still fashionable amongst the art-photographers to use black and white. This poem is part of the poetry Book 'Inner and outer Landscapes' by Susanne Rowell. The poem is narrated by George Daly.

The Eternal Puzzle
This poem by Susanne Rowell from the modern poetry collection INNER AND OUTER LANDSCAPES is read by George Daly and explores the theme of recreating a loved one, by assembling their body parts.
It is a homage to the egyptian Isis and Osiris myth and the Lemminkäinen myth brought to life by Finish composer Jean Sibelius in his famous composition of the same name. '
The Lemminkäinen suit is in Tuonela, the land of the dead, to shoot the Swan of Tuonela to be able to claim the daughter of Louhi, mistress of the Pohjola or Northland, in marriage. However, the blind man of the Northland shoots and kills Lemminkäinen with a poisoned arrow, whose body is then tossed in the river and dismembered. Lemminkäinen's mother learns of his death, travels to Tuonela, recovers his body parts, reassembles him and restores him to life.`

George Daly shares his spiritual morning exercise with us. Musicbed Challenge 2024 Spec Ad
It was fun to create a fictional ad for the music licensing platform MUSICBED. I only discovered the 30 day short film challenge 2 weeks before its deadline. It's the first time I have experimented with a green screen and suit/gloves. It's not perfect. It would require a more sophisticated editing system, (of course most of it is done with AI nowadays) so, I didn't expect to win anything, but that didn't matter, because it was a lot of fun creating the video and I am still learning. So, I hope you, the viewer, will also enjoy this little piece.

"The Lady Is a Tramp" is a show tune from the 1937 Rodgers and Hart musical Babes in Arms, in which it was introduced by former child star Mitzi Green. This song is a spoof of New York high society and its strict etiquette (the first line of the verse is "I get too hungry for dinner at eight...") and phony social pretensions. This art-video tells the story of a man and a woman on their path through life. The sculptures were created by French Artist Annie Gaudrat. The poetry, narrating the story, was written by the artist and writer Susanne Rowell who created this video.

Two strangers meet in this earthly realm. Their hearts aflame with passion, red!
Engulfed, submerged with each other‘s charms. They fuse their bodies, souls and hearts.
After a while, their shadows show, too much light, does cast a few.
Is it goodbye for just a day? Or is it for eternity?
Their minds are made up, they drift apart, to go their separate ways.
Soon, old age is knocking on the door. Stifling life right out of their core.
Then death steels up and drags away, the very last breath, never to return, no more.
But like the caterpillar does transcend, sheds its mortal shell, there emerges our soul as well, celestial, flying to its heavenly abode. © Susanne Rowell 2023
